Seesaw structure
The seesaw structure consists of two sides revolving around a central axis, with one side moving upwards and the other side moving downwards, repeating this process. The seesaw structure is mainly used in the design of keyboard molds with numbers and letters. Containing enclosed numbers or letters such as 0, 4, 6, 8, A, B, D, O, etc., only by using a seesaw structure can secondary materials flow smoothly into the enclosed area, forming a beautiful appearance. The working principle of the seesaw structure is: after one injection molding, the mold is opened, and the seesaw rotates around the rotation axis under the action of the push rod with the breaking needle, causing the breaking out plate to push upwards under the push of the seesaw. In this way, the breaking needle moves upwards to break out a hole at the boundary of the enclosed area of the product. When the second injection molding is carried out, the broken pin is used to move downwards and create a circular hole, allowing the secondary material to enter the enclosed area through the broken hole.
Medium plate mold structure
In general, the two dynamic parts of a two-color mold are exactly the same. However, if the structure of the product requires that the two moving molds be different and there is no need to use a side core pulling mechanism, then a middle plate mold structure is needed to solve the problem. The working principle of the middle plate mold is: during the injection molding process, the two sets of moving molds do not rotate. After completing one injection molding, the fixed moving mold opens, first pushes out the middle plate, then rotates the middle plate 180 °, then closes the mold, and then performs secondary molding injection. In this way, the inserts of the primary and secondary parts of the middle plate can be made into different shapes to achieve the expected design goals.
Twin structure
Two color molds generally have two sets of molds, which requires two sets of mold frames. Sometimes, when forming two similar products at once (with symmetrical relationships or matching upper and lower covers of similar sizes) using a set of mold frames, a "twin" structure is required. For the "twin" mold, due to the design of two different nozzle positions in the same set of molds, it is necessary to determine the position of the fixed plate cylinder according to the selected injection molding machine. The working principle of the "twin" structure: the mold is designed with only one mold frame, and two injection points are determined based on the position of the injection molding machine barrel. The mold frame is divided into two parts, one for one-time molding and the other for secondary molding. Similarly, there are two identical moving mold cores and two different fixed mold cores. This type of mold injects both the first and second molds simultaneously, and only the part of the second injection molded product is ejected during ejection. The first mock examination of similar products is produced each time.
